Can you give us any more information about yourself? Such as your age, what kind of gun you have, what kind of experience you have.....? It'll help us get to know you. We are a team that is spread about from Corvallis to Portland. We currently have 2 members in Corvallis (myself, and Orion are at OSU). We have another member in Albany, one in Salem, and a smattering up in the greater Portland area. Come out to some events with us, and introduce yourself.

Not to sound rude, but that gun is simply not on par with the type of play that our team does.

If the only issue is the gun, would it be ok if i were to bring my gun to the next practice? then, if i get my ass handed to me, ill know to get a better gun, and i will do so (any recommendations for a good gun would be appreciated)

Honestly, if you are 18 like you say you are... Do these things. They may be a tad blunt, but it's what you should do if your serious about this sport.
Work on your grammar in your posts, if you are attempting to make a good impression, it doesn't seem very professional if you are too lazy to type out "why?"
Loose the UTG. They are a crap company. Their replicas are nothing but junk.
Look into Echo 1, or JG for low priced guns that are decent. A&K's new products are good, also take a look at Dboys/Kalash.
If you can afford something better, I'd recommend a G&P, TSD/SRC, or KWA.
Forget the "sniping" idea, it's a standard n00b thing to want to do, try being a rifleman first. Get an M4, AK, SCAR, or something of that barrel length to your liking.
Get some good equipment, spend a lil more and get that real deal gear, or those real BDUs.
Sorry if this comes across as harshness, but I'm just trying to tell you what I tell every newer player these days.

I understand and appreciate your bluntness. As for my grammar, I apologize, and will be more coherent in the future. As I said, I am new at this but want to learn. When I get my next paycheck I plan on getting this gun (http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/JG_Full_Metal_Gearbox_614_RIS_CQB_AEG_p/jg-6621.htm) is it any good, or is there a better model. Also, like I said, my sniper has full auto, so if you don’t want me sniping, I can still use it until my new gun is bought As for the BDU, I was planning on buying them at www.militaryclothing.com any thoughts on that? Are they a good company? Any ones that are better or have better prices? And yes, I am really 18, why would I say I am if I am not, in an event like this where it takes place in the real world, I suspect that you might notice if I am 85 instead of 18 Could I come to a practice with my current gear to show you how good (or bad) I am. Again, I am relatively new at this, so I don’t know. And I want to see if you want me on your team as I don’t want to shell out the big bucks on equipment if you end up not accepting me

We got to games at Ivan's pretty often, and even host our own events there. Make it out for a skirmish sometime. That JG is okay, but you may have to put some work into now and again to make it up to par as far as durability goes. Haven't really heard much about that place, but you can www.bdu.com is one of my favorites. These days, there's been alot of younger players lying about their age, and your posts from before did look alot like a younger person was posting them due to the grammar, no offense intended.

Yeah, I can understand kids lying about their age, and if it makes you feel better I could bring my birth certificate (sorry no drivers license, I bike everywhere so I have never bothered to get one) Where is Ivan’s?

Yeah, I can understand kids lying about their age, and if it makes you feel better I could bring my birth certificate (sorry no drivers license, I bike everywhere so I have never bothered to get one) Where is Ivan’s? Ivan's field is in Silverton. There is a game there on the 9th of May, and a few of us might show up. If I head up there, I might be able to get a ride, but I need to get permission from the higher ups as to the status of myself that weekend.

Ok, cool. I assume that you are referring to the “Silverton skirmish” on the 9th. How do you get there? Like I said, I bike everywhere, any way I could get a ride? I could compensate you with several thousand .25g high polished bb’s. If not it’s totally cool, I’ll find another way
Haha simultaneous posts about the same thing! Sweet. Well let me know. And I really appreciate your help
Oh and until I get a proper BDU, should I bring my current gear?
Renagade's edit- Don't double post please.

Use whatever you like, just be yourself and we'll se what the future unfolds.
I'm sure you can find a ride on AP. Just make a post. Offer gas money as a bribe.

It wasn’t an intentional double post, I was typing up my reply and when I posted then it displayed that you had just posted with answers to my questions, sorry
