My name is Zack Shannon im 18 years old and just recently graduated from Century High school in hillsboro. By reading the others threads i guess i should give you guys a little back ground info on me.
Well i got into airsoft a long time ago (5-6 years) But never did anything more then shooting at my friends with the 15 dollar pistols from GI Joes. A guy at Big 5 of all places saw me looking at airsoft guns in may and told me to check out AP. A few weeks later i went to my first event hosted by you guys actually. It was the Drug Runner event were i was on the cartel side. You guys were pretty nice to me considering it was my first event. You might remember me i was the guy who walked with switch out to the field and i got a ride from jester on the way back. Us getting betrayed at the end sucked.
I've done a few other AP events like IB and Grid 18 and soon to be faction wars. I also have some CQC experience playing at S4 Tactical al Hillsboro. I've gone there every Saturday for the past 5 weeks playing there for maybe 3-5 hours a day. I'm really starting to like it yet i don't have a CQC weapon yet. The only AEG i own is a CA M16. I love the gun to death but i don't like it in close quarters.
Besides my recent love of airsoft I'm also a big gamer. If I'm not playing airsoft or hanging out with a friend you can pretty much guess I'm on my 360 or PS3 (mainly 360)
If i get to join i would gladly go get some OD and Multi camo. Also since you guys are really into CQC i guess i need to save for a CQC weapon (saving for either a CA Scar or CA m4 atm)
Well i don't really know what else to say. I've been looking for a group to play with because its lonely going to events and not knowing anyone. So ya, i hope i can join.

Stay away from CA Scars, they aren't worth anywhere close what they cost. I'd recommend a Dboys over them.
CA M4's used to be good, but if I were you I'd spend my money on something better. G&P, G&G, SRC/TSD, and Deepfire are much better for about the same price range.

I love my CA SCAR. Of course I got it used, and put a fair amount of work into it. I would also recomend the Dboys. Same as the CA, but cheaper.

For the SCAR, Dboys > CA. What's the one that's actually metal?
PSC seems to dislike CA. I'm still unsure why. I run a CA8-2.

This isn't a gear discussion thread but I will interject that for your wallets sake the Dboys Scar is better. Dboys has stepped up their game and offer some quite good AEGs. You will get a NICE looking metal body with FN herstal markings (at least the words). The extra money you save can go towards upkeep and upgrades (metal bushings, metal spring guide, shims, possibly a weaker spring). I don't think as a team we hate classic army. We are practical and won't shell out extra cash just for a name. I think many or most of us tend to do a little more work on our replica's than some. We don't tend to leave our AEGs stock and over time we might end up with a Frankengun like Randal...err I mean Tim! For this reason we may go with a nice full metal dboys and then make the weapon our own with upgrades. Classic Army is CLASSIC but they may have dropped off on quality a little to woo the new or casual airsofter with cheaper prices. All that being said the key to becoming a part of this team is just that... become a part of it. There are guys who may not actually be on PSC but we may view them as Teammates because we are friends and we know and trust them. If some of those people wanted on the team officially we'd most likely be all for it. Just come and hang out with any or all of us. Come to our events and when you know we'll be at another event say hey and let us get to know you. We will invite you to join our ranks when and if we feel it is right. I look forward to meeting you someday.

You play some games with us so we can see where your skill level falls, and how well you work with the team. During this time, we also make sure you are not an asshat. Then when we feel like you have a shot, we vote.
This process can take 6 hours, or 6 months. It just depends.

Generally, its the latter of what you guessed at for qualifications. We're not very ritualistic about adding members. Come out to games, roll with us in battle, and most importantly, let us get to know you. The real you. Are you familiar with the works of Shan Yu?

Basically if we like you, we'll keep you, and if not, we'll tell you to GTFO.
On a gear note, I wouldn't get a CA gun at all, their quality is dropping faster and faster. Just the other week at a game, 2 CA guns (their new SVD and RPK) both took a shit on the field. Personally I say go with any brand but CA. Alot of opinions on guns on AP are formed by older players that have been playing for years, hence the praise for CA and the bashing on everything else. Clone companies are still kinda new, and everyone is use to their old shit they made (look at Double Eagle, they made those shitty LPEGs at first, but now their UMP is the bee's knees).
Another thing I'd like to say is I hope your attitude on AP doesn't carry over RL. I remember when you joined AP (since it wasn't too many beers ago) you came off as kind of a cum plunderer, and nothing sticks more than first impressions in this community. I know you've taken a step back from all that online cock waving and I'm hoping its a real thing, not just an act. We all love new players (read Andy) but if they are asshats, its a no go.
Also be sure to introduce yourself to anyone on PSC, it makes remembering your name alot easier when you have a face with a name.
